Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you’ve been facing skin purging while using our Skin Perfector 2% BHA. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this can be.

Skin purging is a temporary skin reaction during which the skin experiences minor breakouts in response to a new product or ingredient. This is very common, especially when using active ingredients like salicylic acid. Skin purging usually lasts 4-6 week. If you have been experiencing it for more than 4-6 weeks, the breakouts might be caused by something else – maybe some sort of allergy to an ingredient. It might even come from hormonal changes and stress.
